Fun Stuff
- UFP-Terminal
based on an older database for MS-DOS, this website started in 1995 and became the biggest Star Trek homepage in Germany in the late nineties and very early 2000s. Nowadays it has been beaten by far by Paramounts official homepage and sites like Memory Alpha, but it still has its value (I think) and I may even update it again. - Magic: The Gathering
This is the game that pretty much alone took "collectible trading card game" from a niche to a billion dollar industry, years before Yu-Gi-Oh came out. I was hooked to it pretty much between 1995 and about 2000 and keep this page for sentimental reasons. Back when I started it, there were no card lists around sorted by rarity, but this has changed long ago of course. - Rubik's Cube
A solution for the cube (in German) and also some thoughts about number of combinations - Rubik's Magic
Far less known than the cube, but also fun to play with. If you're stuck with it, here is a solution (yeah, in German, too) - frühstyxradio Highlights
Frühstyxradio pretty much started radio comedy in Germany back in the early nineties. No one else was doing it, and these guys (and a girl) pulled off something that is still unparalleled in anarchy and below-the-waistline. Compared to that, radio comedy today is just lame. Oh, and it also teaches you a lot more about the culture of Lower Saxony than you might think at first glance. Check out some transcriptions here or go to the official homepage. I am even listed there as one of their friends!
